The inbuilt diode circuit helps suppress voltage spikes generated during switching, protecting sensitive control components and improving circuit reliability in industrial automation systems.

CDL4UED2 works as a double level screw clamp terminal block with inbuilt D2 diode circuit configuration. It provides 4 connection points in a compact double-level body while integrating an internal diode-based suppression circuit inside the terminal block. When connected across DC inductive loads such as contactor coils or solenoid valves, the inbuilt diode absorbs reverse voltage spikes generated during switching and protects connected control electronics from electrical damage.
