Product Description

The CTT2.5UT is a T-Type thermocouple terminal block specially designed for industrial temperature sensing and measurement applications where accurate thermocouple signal transmission is essential. This terminal block is used in instrumentation panels, process control systems, industrial automation cabinets, temperature monitoring circuits, laboratory systems, furnaces, and machine control applications where T-Type thermocouple cables (Copper / Constantan) are used for precise temperature measurement.

In temperature measurement systems, signal accuracy is critical because even small electrical potential losses at connection points can result in incorrect temperature readings. Standard terminal blocks are not suitable for thermocouple circuits because they may introduce unwanted junction voltage. The CTT2.5UT is specially engineered with thermocouple-compatible conductive elements made from T-Type thermocouple material, ensuring accurate signal continuity and minimizing voltage loss at terminal connection points. This helps maintain precise temperature readings from the sensor to the control or monitoring system.

The T-Type thermocouple is commonly used in low-temperature measurement applications, cryogenic systems, food processing, laboratories, refrigeration systems, pharmaceutical plants, chemical processing, and scientific instrumentation. The CTT2.5UT is designed specifically to support these applications by preserving thermoelectric signal accuracy throughout the wiring circuit.

One of the major advantages of the CTT2.5UT is its 4 screw clamp connection design, which provides secure conductor retention and stable electrical continuity. The screw clamp mechanism ensures vibration-resistant wiring and strong conductor grip, making it suitable for industrial environments where machinery vibration, thermal cycling, and continuous operation can affect connection stability.

The DIN rail mounting design makes the CTT2.5UT easy to install in industrial control panels, instrumentation cabinets, and automation systems. The clearly identified thermocouple-specific design also helps reduce installation mistakes during maintenance and wiring work.

Manufactured using high-grade Polyamide insulating material, the CTT2.5UT provides excellent dielectric insulation, heat resistance, and mechanical durability. This ensures safe operation in demanding industrial environments while protecting against accidental contact, electrical stress, and long-term wear.

The terminal block supports conductor sizes from 0.2 mm² to 2.5 mm² (22–14 AWG) and offers a 10A current rating with 1000V voltage rating, making it suitable for industrial thermocouple measurement and instrumentation circuits. Its compact dimensions of 10 mm width, 45 mm height, and 43 mm length make it ideal for compact control panel installations.
