The Siemens 3RU2126-4AB00-8K is a SIRIUS 3RU2 series
thermal overload relay designed for reliable motor protection against
overload, phase failure, and excessive temperature rise. It is used in
combination with SIRIUS contactors (Size S0, typically 3RT2 series) in motor
starter assemblies, MCC panels, industrial automation systems, HVAC, pumps, and
conveyor applications.
This relay provides an adjustable current setting range
of 11–16 A, making it suitable for small to medium three-phase motors.
It works on the bimetal thermal principle, where excessive current heats
the bimetal strips, causing the relay to trip and disconnect the motor to
prevent damage.
