The Siemens 3RU2156-5DB10-8K is a SIRIUS 3RU2
series thermal overload relay designed for reliable protection of three-phase
induction motors against overload, phase failure, and overheating
conditions. It is widely used in motor control centers (MCC), industrial
starter panels, HVAC systems, pumps, compressors, and conveyor systems
where dependable motor protection is required.
This relay is designed for Size S6 contactor
compatibility and supports a current setting range of 110–160 A,
making it suitable for medium to heavy-duty industrial motors. It
operates on the bimetal thermal principle, ensuring accurate tripping
under sustained overload conditions to prevent motor damage.
Being a CT-operated (current transformer compatible)
version, it is suitable for higher current motor applications where
