The Siemens 3RB3016-1SB0 Electronic Overload Relay is a microprocessor-based motor protection relay from the highly reliable SIRIUS 3RB3 Series, designed to protect three-phase motors against overload, phase failure, and phase asymmetry. Featuring a 3A to 12A adjustable current range, Class 10E tripping characteristic, and compact S00 frame size, this electronic overload relay delivers precise motor protection for industrial automation systems, motor starters, control panels, and OEM equipment.

Unlike conventional thermal overload relays that use bimetal elements, the 3RB3016-1SB0 employs advanced electronic current sensing and microprocessor-controlled evaluation technology. This intelligent design continuously monitors motor current and thermal conditions, providing accurate overload detection, improved repeatability, and reliable protection regardless of ambient temperature variations.
