The Siemens 3UA68305G is a heavy-duty thermal overload relay from the Siemens 3UA Series, designed for high-current industrial motor protection applications. It provides reliable protection against overload, phase failure, and excessive temperature rise, ensuring safe operation of large motors in demanding industrial environments.

This G variant belongs to the 3UA6800 frame range, which is typically used for very high current motor applications in systems such as MCC panels, steel plants, cement industries, mining equipment, compressors, crushers, and large industrial drive systems.

The relay operates on a bimetal thermal inverse-time principle, where motor current generates heat through internal elements. When overheating occurs, the bimetal strips bend and trigger a trip mechanism, disconnecting the motor to prevent damage and equipment failure.
