The Siemens 3RT2316-1BF40 is a compact and highly reliable SIRIUS 3RT2 Series 4-pole power contactor designed for switching electrical loads in industrial automation, HVAC systems, control panels, and power distribution applications. Featuring 4 Normally Open (4NO) main contacts and an advanced electronic AC/DC coil, this contactor delivers efficient performance, low power consumption, and dependable switching in demanding industrial environments.

Designed for AC-1 applications up to 20A, the 3RT2316-1BF40 is suitable for switching resistive and slightly inductive loads such as heating systems, lighting circuits, control transformers, and industrial power supplies. The integrated 24V AC/DC wide-range electronic coil (Variant BF40) supports both AC and DC control voltages, providing flexibility and reducing inventory requirements for OEMs and panel builders.

Built in the compact S00 frame size, the contactor features robust screw terminal connections that ensure secure wiring, easy installation, and simplified maintenance. Its space-saving design makes it ideal for motor control centers (MCCs), building automation systems, machine control panels, process automation equipment, and OEM machinery.

The contactor incorporates 4 Normally Open main contacts for reliable load switching and is engineered according to Siemens SIRIUS quality standards. It offers a rated insulation voltage of 690V, excellent electrical endurance, and a mechanical service life of up to 10 million operating cycles, ensuring long-term reliability and reduced maintenance costs.
