The BCH RG3-8T-230 Automatic Power Factor Controller (APFC) is a 3-phase, 8-step intelligent power factor controller designed for automatic power factor correction in unbalanced electrical loads. Operating on 230V AC, it continuously monitors the power factor and automatically switches capacitor banks to maintain the desired power factor, reducing reactive power consumption, minimizing electricity penalties, and improving overall system efficiency. It supports 3 current transformers (3CTs) for accurate compensation of each phase.
The RG3-8T-230 features a 144 × 144 mm panel-mounted design, harmonic measurement up to the 19th harmonic, THD monitoring, programmable THD protection, programmable capacitor discharge time, password-protected settings, and comprehensive electrical parameter measurement including current, power factor, active power, reactive power, apparent power, kWh, and kVArh. It is ideal for industrial power distribution panels, capacitor banks, OEM equipment, and energy management systems.
